How Find My Meds works

Sends you reminders before your current prescription runs out.

Using Find My Meds: A step-by-step overview

You can download the Find My Meds app for free anytime. Once you have a Wegovy® prescription and confirmed insurance coverage, you can log in and start the search for your dose.
Note: If you are not using insurance, you can still use Find My Meds and pay directly at the pharmacy.
Find My Meds can help with the first fill or a refill of your Wegovy® prescription. Just enter your prescription, insurance information, and location, and the app gets to work!

Behind the scenes, Find My Meds calls nearby pharmacies to locate your dose of Wegovy®, starting with your preferred pharmacy.

After your Wegovy® dose is located, Find My Meds transfers your prescription and applies your insurance coverage, notifies you when it’s ready, and provides the location. The pharmacy holds the prescription for up to 7 days.
Find My Meds reminds you to pick up your prescription and confirm it in the app.

Find My Meds then schedules a search for your next fill. If you don’t have any refills left, the app nudges you to contact your prescriber.

What is Find My Meds?
Find My Meds is a new AI-powered app developed by Novo Nordisk in collaboration with Together by Renee. If you are a patient in the US or Puerto Rico, the app helps locate your prescribed dose of Wegovy® and transfers your prescription to a nearby retail chain pharmacy where the medication is in stock.
The Find My Meds app is currently available for Apple iPhone and Android mobile devices. As long as you use a prescription with Find My Meds that has been authorized by your insurance, that insurance authorization will automatically be provided to the pharmacy the app identifies.

Prescription fills are usually found in 1-3 days, although in some cases it could be as early as a few hours or take a few additional days.
The app communicates with the pharmacy and has the prescription filled for you.
The app alerts you when your Wegovy® fill is available and provides a pickup address. The pharmacy will typically hold it for at least 7 days.
Once you pick up your fill, you must confirm in the app that you’ve picked up your prescription. If you have no refills left, contact your prescriber for a new prescription to be submitted to your retail chain pharmacy of choice.
If you have one or more refills left on your prescription label, scan the new label right away to let Find My Meds begin searching 7 days prior to when your next month’s fill is due.
